FROM THE OFFICE OF FIRE CHIEF RICKY KING (201),
Welcome to the Official Web Site of the Central
City Fire Department. I am Chief Ricky King. The CCFD is a group of 40 dedicated
men and women, 6 of which are full-time firefighters, that proudly serve the
citizens of Muhlenberg County's largest city. The CCFD, or Station
#2, covers an area of roughly 15 square miles and is one of eight fire
departments in Muhlenberg County. Our primary operating frequency is
154.130MHz.
Our
department focuses much of our efforts on training and fire prevention
activities. Each year the members of the CCFD train thousands of
hours. This training includes the curriculum set by the Kentucky State
Fire Commission. The department makes training a number one priority to
better serve our community.
We continue to make our fire prevention
program a high priority at our department. Through regular efforts such as
safety presentations, fire inspections and active participation with the
schools.
The Central City Fire Department is a highly trained,
professional group of individuals that join together to make a top rate fire
department protecting our friends and family.
I am proud to be a resident
of Central City and the chief of it fire department.
Thanks for
stopping by our web site. Feel free to come by the station and visit your
department.
