SHAKEN!!!!!
Approximately 4:36 am CST, the USGS reported an earthquake. The quake measured 5.4 originally, but was downgraded to a 5.2 on the Richter Scale. Many residents felt shaking while others did not.

SPRING FIRE SEASON ENDING APRIL 15
The Spring Fire Season ends Tuesday, April 15th. Until that time, please abide by the law. AUTHORITY KRS 149.400, you cannot burn except at night between 6 pm and 6 am, also you cannot burn within 150 feet of a woodland or brushland.

As Muhlenberg County'sStation 2,the Central City Fire Department strives to fulfill all the needs required by federal government laws set in by OSHA and the NFPA, state laws and statutes set in by the Commonwealth of Kentucky and KCTCS, and the local community. With countless hours of training and experience, these firefighters put it all on the line - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Station 2 is comprised of 6 full-time paid firefighters and approximately 34 volunteers.
