The Muhlenberg South High School Physics and Astronomy Club was created to promote the interest and the education of all students in the fields of physics and astronomy. The club was chartered in September 1998 and currently has a membership of approximately 40 students. The club meets on the first Wednesday of each month during the morning club session while standing committees meet on the first Thursday of the month from 7:45 - 8:45 a.m..
Club meetings begin with a short informational discussion concerning club news and business. Next, a demonstration of a natural phenomenon is given, and students are allowed to actively participate, as well as allowed to build their own apparatuses.
